LinuxTag is the most important place for Linux and open source software in Europe. The 16th LinuxTag presents all the latest for professional users, decision makers, developers, beginners and the Linux community — June 9 to 12 at the Berlin Fairgrounds.
The program committee for the 16th LinuxTag is seeking proposals for the lecture program on topics including, but not limited to, the following: Open Source Success Stories, Public Sector, Security, Cloud Computing, Web Programming, Ubuntu and Family, Webapps, Gnome, Java and OpenJDK, openSUSE, Software Development, KDE, Android & Phones, Fedora, Video, Openstreetmap, Office, Kernel and System Development, Appllcations, Datacenter, Monitoring, and Security.
Lectures on topics like these, from beginners' issues to system monitoring, will take place on all four days of the fair. Every ticket holder is free to attend any of these presentations. In addition to regular tickets (one day for €12; all four days for €28), the LinuxTag Association has free e-tickets for participants in free software projects.
LinuxTag is organized by the LinuxTag Association in partnership with Messe Berlin GmbH. This annual gathering is based on three core principles:
