Welcome to the 4th Bingley Music Live festival, one of the friendliest and most intimate indie/pop festivals in the UK!
Now in it’s 4th year Bingley Music Live is arguably one of the most intimate and unique indie/pop music festivals in the UK. Intimate because the festival is packed into a natural bowl (anyone that has been to the festival will know just how cosy it is) and unique because there aren’t many music festivals at this level that are funded, organised and managed independently by a local authority.
You wouldn’t be surprised to learn then that the festival is held in one of the local authority’s municipal parks. Myrtle Park is one of Bradford Council’s most picturesque parks located in the heart of the rural town of Bingley (that’s right home of the Building Society with the famous bowler hat). It’s in the shade of the Building Society’s former headquarters where the 25 acre site of Myrtle Park lies. Whilst the building itself is an architectural triumph of what one can achieve with pre cast concrete, soon in the park, and with the stage set against a stunning woodland backdrop, you could forgive yourself for being in the countryside instead of a few miles from Bradford City centre.
